Karen Tillman has worked as a hairdresser for almost 40 years but is branching out to try her hand at something new!  As a huge fan of HGTV, she has always loved houses and had a strong interest in becoming a realtor. 

One day Karen came across a video about our Earn as you Learn program that perked her interest. Not long after that, she had a hair appointment with her lifelong friend, Live Love Arkansas agent Patti Melder. 

As she cut her hair, they talked more in-depth about the program, and Patti encouraged her to pursue her dream of becoming a real estate agent. Karen respected her opinion, and after their chat, she became excited about the possibility of joining the team. 

She visited the office and was impressed by how well the team seemed to work together. While there, she observed that Live Love Arkansas was more of a family atmosphere than a workplace environment and decided she wanted to be a part of that!

 She took a leap and decided to make her dream of becoming a real estate agent a reality. She signed up for our 'Earn as you Learn' program and began her real estate classes. She took her test at the end of June and received her license in August.

Karen is very eager to start helping her clients find their dream homes, especially those first-time buyers!

 She is very good with people! Her experience building long-term relationships behind the stylist chair are going to be a great asset to her as a realtor.

Karen would like to thank her mentor Patti for leading her to the Tabatha Davis Team. She loves that there is always someone willing to help and encourage her.

Karen and her husband, Paul David have been married for 30 years. In her free time, you will find her creating and crafting. She loves anything from painting furniture to floral arranging. She has a huge heart and love for animals and has numerous rescue pets.
