There are some great adventures up this weekend!
It’s July 4th weekend, and this year America is celebrating it’s 250th birthday!!! Get ready for a jam-packed weekend with LOTS of opportunities to celebrate living in this land that we love.
It’s going to be a hot one. Most of the state is under a heat advisory, so take proper precautions. There is a slight chance of rain Friday and Saturday, with thunderstorms likely developing late Sunday. Again, we always recommend checking with the venue before heading out to an event to make sure nothing has changed.
If you know of any events we should add to this or future editions of “This Weekend in Arkansas”, let us know! In the meantime, we have selected a few of our favorite events for the weekend! Here is our guide to what’s happening this weekend in Arkansas!
If you decide to join any of these events, be sure to mention that Live Love Arkansas sent you!
Simply click the red text(or the photo) to see more details about each event.
However you choose to spend your weekend, we wish you a fantastic one!
NOTE: As always, we do our best to bring you accurate information… however, we encourage you to reach out to event venues to confirm before you head out to an advertised event!

Ozark Folk Jamboree Night 1: Arkansauce and The Burney Sisters at Railyard Live
101 E. Cherry Street, Downtown Rogers, AR
Live recording and syndication provided by Ozark Highlands Radio
Arkansauce calls forth melodies of the Ozark Mountains' rolling hills and raging rivers with their distinct blend of newgrass. This progressive string quartet features Tom Andersen on bass, guitarist Zac Archuleta, Ethan Bush on mandolin, and Adams Collins on banjo. Their music features improvisational string leads matched with complex melodies, intriguing rhythms, and deep thumping bass grooves. Each member sings lead and harmony parts as well as contributes to the lyrics, which offer authentic, intelligent songwriting with hard-hitting hooks.
Music Mecca’s Spencer Nachman calls them a “fiery, finger-picking string band... What is apparent at any Arkansauce show is their positivity and desire to uplift the audience’s spirit, no matter the circumstance.”
They are a band inspired not only from their home state of Arkansas, but also throughout their travels. “We are a band that spends most of our time in the back of a van hurtling toward long nights, good times, and a destiny unknown,” says Ethan. “Our inspiration is gathered by events unfolding in our own adventures in real time. These days, the desire to create, inspire, and redefine within our scene seems to be the main driving force behind our music. From a young age we were huge fans of live music and were introduced to a lot of great music by our families.”
Arkansauce independently released their 5th album, OK to Wonder, on April 21, 2023. With 11 original tracks—ranging from upbeat and stimulating to contemplative and encouraging—the collection is filled with songs of revelry, wonder, insight, and whimsy.

Fire on the Mountain - City of Berryville
City of Berryville - Fire on the Mountain 2026
Join the City of Berryville on July 4 for Fire on the Mountain, our annual Independence Day fireworks display!
As darkness falls, beginning around 9:00 PM, fireworks will light up the sky from Saunders Heights, creating a spectacular show that can be seen from many locations throughout Berryville.
This year's display will be even more special as we celebrate America's 250th Birthday with additional fireworks added to the show in honor of this historic milestone.
For the best experience, be sure to tune in to KTHS 107.1 FM during the fireworks display! They will be broadcasting patriotic music to accompany the show, creating the perfect soundtrack for your Fourth of July celebration.
Looking for even more fun? The Carroll County Fairgrounds will be hosting festivities from 4:00 PM until the conclusion of the fireworks show. Enjoy vendors, a talent show, a truck show, food, and much more before settling in to watch the fireworks. Be sure to visit the Carroll County Fair Facebook page for admission information and a complete schedule of activities.
Gather your family and friends, find your favorite viewing spot around town, and enjoy one of Berryville's favorite Independence Day traditions!
Please follow the City of Berryville Facebook page for updates and announcements leading up to the event. The only anticipated reason for cancellation would be the implementation of a countywide fire ban due to weather conditions.
We look forward to celebrating with you this Independence Day!
