There are some great adventures up this weekend!
It’s another summer weekend in the Natural State! Get ready for a jam-packed weekend with LOTS of opportunities to explore and enjoy our beautiful state.
Look for daytime temperatures to be in the low-to-mid 90s, and we may get some rain or thunderstorms Saturday and Sunday. We always recommend checking with the venue before heading out to an event to make sure nothing has changed.
If you know of any events we should add to this or future editions of “This Weekend in Arkansas”, let us know! In the meantime, we have selected a few of our favorite events for the weekend! Here is our guide to what’s happening this weekend in Arkansas!
If you decide to join any of these events, be sure to mention that Live Love Arkansas sent you!
Simply click the red text(or the photo) to see more details about each event.
However you choose to spend your weekend, we wish you a fantastic one!
NOTE: As always, we do our best to bring you accurate information… however, we encourage you to reach out to event venues to confirm before you head out to an advertised event!

Our Town Sherwood - Bring a Plant / Swap a Plant
Join fellow plant lovers from across the Sherwood community for a fun and welcoming plant swap event at Thornhill Park!
This free community event is open to all plant moms, plant dads, gardeners, houseplant enthusiasts, and anyone looking to share their love of plants. If you have healthy plants, cuttings, seedlings, pots, or garden treasures that no longer fit your space, bring them along and exchange them for something new from another community member.
Our goal is to promote sustainability, reduce waste, and encourage neighbors to connect through a shared passion for gardening and plants. Instead of throwing unwanted plants away, give them a new home while discovering something new for your own collection.
Important Event Guidelines: All items must be given freely.
No buying, selling, or trading for money is permitted.
Please bring healthy, pest-free plants and cuttings.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of gardening experience.
You do not have to bring a plant to attend and enjoy the event.
Come meet your neighbors, share gardening tips, and help us grow a stronger, greener Sherwood—one plant at a time!

Resonance Within: A Sound Healing Journey with Zenaissance Warrior
Resonance Within: A Sound Healing Journey with Zenaissance Warrior
Why Sound Healing?
Sound healing is an ancient, universal practice used across cultures to bring balance and connection. Today, in a world where stress and overstimulation have become the norm, finding ways to relax and reset is more vital than ever. Through frequencies and soothing music, we create a sanctuary for you to unwind, reconnect, and feel your inner calm.
What to Expect
When you arrive, you’ll set up your spot in the meeting area in the rear of the museum. After introductions and intentions setting, we’ll begin with some guided breath work to center and ease into presence. Then, you’ll be invited to let the sounds guide you on a journey, releasing stored emotions, quieting the mind, and simply listening and relaxing. This experience is a moment for you—a space to explore, to rest, to heal. We’ll close by sharing, if you choose, holding space for whatever has arisen during the sound journey.
What to Bring
Comfortable clothes for relaxation
Yoga mat to lay on
Optional: an eye mask or small pillow for added comfort
Water or tea in a container with a lid;
A journal and pen for reflections
or any items that add a personal touch—like a favorite blanket or stuffed animal ;-)—is welcomed
Afterward, we welcome you to share any reflections or simply carry your experience with you into the rest of your day.
