Pro Bono Month Southeast Arkansas Legal Clinics

Monticello

In honor of pro bono month, the Delta Justice Center will partner to offer free criminal record sealing advice and document preparation clinics around Southeast Arkansas. These events will be held as follows: Friday, October 23 at the Monticello Branch Library, 114 W. Jefferson Ave, Monticello, AR 71655 and Saturday, October 24 at the Project Restoration Ministries & Resource Center, 215 E. Iowa St., Dermott, AR 71638.

Pro Bono Week promotes and supports the work of lawyers who volunteer their services for free to people and organizations who couldn’t otherwise afford legal advice. The national celebration of pro bono is held the last week of October each year.

Appointments will be limited and registration is required for participants so eligibility to seal records can be evaluated. To sign up, visit https://forms.gle/Q8ZdK9sePNhqQvtz9 or email Tabitha Lee for the registration link.

Partners for this clinic include the Monticello Branch Library, the Drew County NAACP Legal Redress Committee, and Project Outreach Ministries & Resource Center. Attorneys who would like to volunteer can contact Attorney Tabitha Lee for more information.

Criminal records – even dismissed charges – can affect entire communities by preventing access to a basic cost of living because it can result in discretionary ineligibility for jobs. Sealing criminal records provides access to a higher standard of living through better jobs, housing, and education. Sign up today to receive free legal services through this special event.

Ladies, we would LOVE for you to join us for the 2026 Arkansas AG Women’s Fall Conference!

ROOTED: As In Heaven
October 23–24, 2026
Hot Springs, Arkansas
Registration: $60

This is going to be a wonderful weekend of worship, encouragement, connection, and time together in God’s presence!

Every woman is called to minister. Every woman has a mission. Yes—you!

You don’t have to stand behind a microphone or lead a crowd to make an impact for the Kingdom of God. Every prayer you pray, every word of encouragement you give, and every act of love can make an eternal difference. God has called you to make an impact right where He has planted you—in your home, your workplace, your church, and your community.

Our prayer is that the ladies of Friendship will come home from this weekend refreshed, encouraged, ROOTED deeper in Christ, and reminded that God has a purpose for each one of us.

We would love to take a great group of ladies from Friendship this year, so don’t wait to get signed up!

Registration is $60. Contact Stefanie Crawford to sign up or for more information.

Ladies, let’s go to Hot Springs together!

Expect:
• A world premiere ballet
• Contemporary choreography and visual storytelling
• Immersive technology, lighting, and scenic elements
• A life-sized automobile on stage

Ballet Arkansas Presents A Roaring Affair

Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts

Step into the glamour, intrigue, and irresistible energy of the Jazz Age for A Roaring Affair, an unforgettable evening celebrating Ballet Arkansas and its highly anticipated production of Gatsby.

More than a night at the ballet, A Roaring Affair transforms one of Ballet Arkansas's Gatsby performances into a complete social experience, pairing world-class dance with cocktails, live jazz, exceptional hospitality, and a post-performance speakeasy inspired by the decadence of the 1920s.

The evening begins at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, where guests may attend Champagne & Consequence, a VIP experience that offers an intimate pre-performance reception with Ballet Arkansas leadership and Company Artists on stage. Guests will then take their seats for the full performance of Michael Fothergill's world-premiere production of Gatsby. Following the final curtain, the celebration continues as guests step into The Glass Box Speakeasy for two hours of live jazz, cocktails and libations, hors d'oeuvres, appearances by Ballet Arkansas Company Artists, and Gatsby-inspired experiences.

CHAMPAGNE & CONSEQUENCE | VIP EXPERIENCE - 6:00 - 6:45 pm
A limited Champagne & Consequence VIP Experience offers an intimate pre-performance reception with Ballet Arkansas leadership and Company Artists. Enjoy champagne and cocktails, light hors d'oeuvres, and special behind-the-scenes access before the artists prepare to take the stage. Following the performance, VIP guests join the full celebration at The Speakeasy. Availability for this experience is intentionally limited.

THE PERFORMANCE | GATSBY - 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Seduction. Ambition. Excess. Consequence. Ballet Arkansas brings the intoxicating world of Gatsby to the stage at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts. The full performance serves as the centerpiece of A Roaring Affair, immersing audiences in a world where glamour conceals obsession and the pursuit of something greater always comes at a price.

THE GLASS BOX SPEAKEASY | AFTER THE CURTAIN - 8:30 - 10:30 pm
When the performance ends, the night is only beginning. A Roaring Affair guests will transition into an exclusive two-hour post-performance Speakeasy, where live jazz sets the mood for an evening of cocktails, wine, hors d'oeuvres, conversation, and appearances by Ballet Arkansas Company Artists and staff. Cocktail attire welcome - Gatsby-era glamour encouraged.

ONLINE AUCTION
Guests and supporters may also participate in Ballet Arkansas's 26|27 season kick-off auction. Participation in the auction is optional, and bidding will take place entirely online. Please note: Auction items are available for bid prior to, and post event, and items will not be distributed or available for pickup during A Roaring Affair.
