Beginners Fly-Tying
If you have ever seen a fly being tied, or saw one that was finished, and said to yourself; “That’s pretty cool. I’d like to learn how to do that,” then this class is for you.
Students will leave this class with a fly they have tied themselves, ready to catch a fish in any of our local waters.
Just bring yourself and your reading glasses (if you need them). We will provide everything else that you need for the class.

WINTER WILDLIFE HIKE
Deer, rabbits, squirrels, and various winter birds are just a few of the animals that live in Lake Dardanelle State Park. Join a park interpreter at the Meadowbrook trailhead near the amphitheater for an easy walk and discover the signs left behind from our winter wildlife

Organic Gardening Classes Session
The gardening classes will be held weekly. Each week will have a focus depending on specific garden needs at the nursery. Such as releasing beneficial insects, planting, plant pruning, companion planting, etc. Each week the class participants will be able to take something home. It may be seeds, a plant, or produce. The classes will last about and will be a hands-on experience. Sign up for 4 weeks and get the 5th week free.

HIBERNATION LOOK & LEARN TABLE
Some of Lake Dardanelle State Park's inhabitants hibernate through the winter, while others adapt to the cooler temperatures and stay active. Stop by the park interpreter’s Look & Learn Table at the visitor center to discover what some of the animals in the park are doing to survive winter.
