Cave Safety: To prevent the spread of White Nose Syndrome among bats, all caves and mines on National Forest lands, except Blanchard Springs Caverns, are closed to the public.
Cave Weather: The caverns maintain a constant temperature of 58°F with nearly 100% humidity. Visitors are advised to wear low-heeled, nonslip shoes and bring a lightweight jacket.
