The ECTA Arkansas Mile Top Speed Motorsports Event

Arkansas Aeroplex

Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines! The Arkansas Mile is back for another thrilling year of high-speed action, and you won’t want to miss it! In 2025, we’re bringing you not one, but TWO incredible events at the historic former Eaker Air Force Base in Blytheville, Arkansas, where speed dreams come alive!
• Spring Fling: May 2-4, 2025
• Horsepower Harvest: October 3-5, 2025
Since its inception in 2018, the Arkansas Mile has become a must-attend event for speed enthusiasts, with thousands of land speed records set on its legendary track. As the only standing mile event to offer record opportunities at 1/2 mile, 1 mile, and 2 kilometers, the Arkansas Mile attracts the fastest cars and motorcycles from across the country.
The current track record stands at an astonishing 250+ mph, and with several competitors gearing up to shatter that mark in 2025. Will they succeed? You’ll have to be there to find out! The excitement is guaranteed to be at an all-time high. Whether you’re a competitor or a spectator, the Arkansas Mile offers a safe, family-friendly environment to experience the thrill of full-throttle excitement.
A True Family Event
The Arkansas Mile is more than just a race—it’s a celebration of speed, community, and camaraderie. Many family teams compete together, and the atmosphere among competitors and spectators feels like one big family. It’s an event where lifelong friendships are forged, and memories are made.
About Blytheville and the Historic Eaker Air Force Base
Blytheville, Arkansas, is a city rich in history and industry. Once a thriving hub for the cotton and timber industry, Blytheville played a significant role in the region’s economic growth. In 1942, the U.S. Army established the Blytheville Army Air Field (later renamed Eaker Air Force Base) as a training facility for bomber pilots. In 1942, the U.S. Army established the Blytheville Army Air Field (later renamed Eaker Air Force Base) as a training facility for bomber pilots. The establishment of a Nucor steel mill in the late 1980s. Has led to Mississippi County Arkansas becoming the largest steel producing county in the United States. Today, the city continues to honor its industrial heritage while embracing new opportunities.
The Eaker Air Force Base, where the Arkansas Mile is held, is a historic site that served as a strategic military installation during the Cold War. Named in honor of General Ira C. Eaker, a pioneer in U.S. military aviation, the base has been transformed into the Blytheville-Gosnell Regional Airport (BGRA). The huge 11,602 ft long concrete run runway provides an amazing quality surface for high-speed events like the Arkansas Mile.
Join Us in 2025!
Whether you’re a seasoned competitor, a first-time participant, or a spectator looking for an unforgettable experience, the Arkansas Mile is the place to be in 2025. Mark your calendars for the Spring Fling in May and the Horsepower Harvest in October, and join us as we push the limits of speed and celebrate the spirit of racing.

Brian Brock will preside and the congregation of Central Presbyterian Church will join us.

Whether furry, feathered, or scaled, pets of all kinds are welcome to receive a blessing and a prayer of thanksgiving for the joy they bring to our lives.

This is a wonderful opportunity to invite friends, neighbors, and fellow animal lovers to join in a joyful celebration of God's creation. Children are especially encouraged to participate and share in the family-friendly tradition.

Come and celebrate the gift of our animal companions - all are welcome!

Please bring your animals on leashes or in appropriate carriers. For those with shy or special-needs pets, you are welcome to bring a photo or stuffed animal to be blessed in their honor.

Mark your calendar for a deeply moving evening of praise and worship led by Justin Qualls! Come join us as we lift our voices together, celebrate God’s goodness, and encounter His presence in powerful ways.

One of the highlights of the night will be Justin’s song “Bigger Than Me”, a heartfelt anthem reminding us that God’s love, power, and purpose are far beyond anything we can fully grasp. It invites us to trust in His greatness, especially when life’s challenges feel overwhelming, and to stand in awe of what He has already done… and what He’s yet to do.

Bring your friends, your hope, and your heart wide open—this night is for anyone who needs renewed faith, fresh worship, and a reminder that we serve a God who is indeed Bigger Than Me.
