10th Annual Foul Air 500 - VW Cruise Weekend
Save the date: Memorial Day Weekend 2025 (May 24-26) is going to be one you don’t want to miss!
It’s the 10th Annual running of the Foul Air 500. One of the largest Volkswagen Road Rallies/ Cruise/ Rolling Car Show in the Midwest.
If you have an old Vintage Volkswagen Bug, Bus, Thing, Type 3, Buggy, a New Beetle or a Buzz ID and anything in between, this is an all Vw event (anything goes). It doesn’t matter if you have the nicest Vw of all time or if you just dug it out of a field, if you want to drive it, join us!
We will meet up Saturday (May 24th 9:30am) morning at our starting point (Loves Gas Station across from Cherokee Casino) in West Siolam Springs Oklahoma.

Join Brent Baker for a leisurely stroll along gentle paved trails through bottomland woods and wetlands at Bona Dea Trails & Sanctuary adjacent to Lake Dardanelle. We’ll also check out Reflection Point, a Pope County Master Gardener project at Washburn Park, which incorporates numerous native plants into the planting. Bring a sack lunch and we’ll have a quick bite to eat at the park before heading to Dardanelle. After lunch, we’ll caravan to the new home of Pine Ridge Gardens native plant nursery at 10989 Fulton Rd., south of Dardanelle. Brent will give a quick tour of the new nursery facilities and then you’ll be free to browse the native plant inventory and head back to Northwest Arkansas when you’re ready.

At long last and after much demand, we’ve got our first Braps N’ Brews of the season! We’ve landed a new home and we’re very much excited to be partnering with Bentonville Brewing Co.!
Come enjoy an incredible atmosphere full of good vibes and fun cars, we’ll have food available from three different food trucks and we’ll have drinks provided by both Bentonville Brewing Co. and Hype Coffee!

You are invited to come sing, play an instrument, or hum along with us as we spend a Sunday evening praising our Heavenly Father. This isn’t a performance. Rather, it is an opportunity for anyone in the community who wants to fellowship and make a joyful noise—because we have brothers and sisters in Christ, and we have a mighty God, worthy of all praise; what better reason than that to come together?!
We will be playing traditional hymns and worship songs for about an hour, and so bringing your own seating is recommended.
Hymnals will be provided!

Join a park interpreter for an interesting walk among the giant sandstone boulders and slot canyons of the Bear Cave area. This is a relatively easy 1/4-mile hike that is great for the whole family. Please wear sturdy shoes and bring water.

Archeological Site Tram Tour
Plum Bayou Mounds Archeological State Park

The Plum Bayou Mounds site is one of the largest and most impressive archeological sites in the Lower Mississippi River Valley. Occupied by American Indians from about 650 to 1050 AD, this site is home to a group of ancient earthworks that once made up a large ceremonial site. Aboard a motorized tram, visitors will join a park interpreter for a guided tour of the 3/4-mile Knapp Trail and learn more about these structures and the people who built them.
