7 South was founded in 2019 by two friends who equally have a love for music and strived to surround themselves with not only the best musicians available, but musicians they could call friends and family.
You can feel the energy and the brotherhood between the members both on and off stage. 7 South has seven members and sometimes special drop-in appearances from friends. They feature primarily two lead singers, four backup vocal singers, three guitar artists, a bass player, a drummer, a keyboard player, a fiddle player, and most importantly, a steel guitar player.

Wildlife is brimming at the lake! Embark on this kayak tour to view it all. Discuss the animals that call Lake Sylvia home. Then, with the guidance of a park interpreter explore the lake for signs of wildlife.
Never been on a kayak? Our park interpreter will ensure participants are comfortable and ready to float before the tour. There will be a short safety briefing before the program officially begins. Make sure to wear sunscreen and clothing that can get wet. Bring water and binoculars if you have them.

From carpet rocks to iron formations along a beautiful creek, Cedar Creek Trail is one of the most fascinating areas of Petit Jean State Park. Join a park interpreter at the Cedar Creek trailhead to discover some of the trees, animals, plants and natural forces that can be found along this beautiful scenic trail. This moderately-difficult trail is a 1 ¼-mile loop and includes steep terrain. Please wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of water. This hike will last about 1.5 hours.
