There are some great adventures up this weekend!
The weekend is here, and we’ve got the scoop on what’s happening in the Natural State! There are some great adventures to enjoy with family and friends, like Musical events, Hiking, Lunch & Learns, Photo Ops, Book Signings, Fireworks, Car Shows, Shopping and much, much more! Plenty of both indoor and outdoor activities to check out.
Looks like we have a only a slight chance of rain Friday and Saturday with partly cloudy skies on Sunday. But we always recommend checking with the venue before heading out to an event to make sure nothing has changed.
If you know of any events we should add to this or future editions of “This Weekend in Arkansas”, let us know! In the meantime, we have selected a few of our favorite events for the weekend! Here is our guide to what’s happening this weekend in Arkansas!
If you decide to join any of these events, be sure to mention that Live Love Arkansas sent you!
Simply click the red text(or the photo) to see more details about each event.
However you choose to spend your weekend, we wish you a fantastic one!
NOTE: As always, we do our best to bring you accurate information… however, we encourage you to reach out to event venues to confirm before you head out to an advertised event!

7 South
107 W Main St, Mountain View, AR
7 South is a country band hailing from the Ozark Mountains in northern Arkansas. They are dedicated to providing great music to their fans and anyone who listens. They focus not just on providing great music at their shows, but an experience you will remember long after they leave the stage.
7 South was founded in 2019 by two friends who equally have a love for music and strived to surround themselves with not only the best musicians available, but musicians they could call friends and family.
You can feel the energy and the brotherhood between the members both on and off stage. 7 South has seven members and sometimes special drop-in appearances from friends. They feature primarily two lead singers, four backup vocal singers, three guitar artists, a bass player, a drummer, a keyboard player, a fiddle player, and most importantly, a steel guitar player.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Kay Pritchett, born and raised in Greenville, Mississippi, came to fiction after years of carrying stories in her imagination. Her Mosey Frye Mystery series—now eight books strong—combines humor, atmosphere, and character-driven intrigue. Amateur sleuth Mosey Frye and police chief Gus Olivera anchor her narratives, alongside her clearsighted friends Nadia and Saffron; the incisive coroner Eads McGinnis; and a latecomer to the series, the imaginative Dr. Lauren Wilson. Pritchett writes with the aim of giving readers a classic whodunit experience, touched with the Southern landscapes and textures that shaped her youth. Her first collection, Murder in High Cotton (2022), reflects her Delta roots, as do all her novels, including the newest, Murder at the Old Schoolhouse, to be released on June 10, 2026. She lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
