Bonfire Rendezvous 2026
2641 Co Rd 5881, Hagarville, AR
For those who are new since our last Bonfire Rendezvous this is not to be confused with Rendezvous in the Ozarks which is our big fall event. The way I like to describe the Bonfire Rendezvous is simply a big group campout around a bonfire in the spring hosted by Natural State Overland! Like all our events, this is a family friendly event. The thought is everyone puts their group and route together, and wheel together through the Ozarks and we all meet on a specific Saturday night to enjoy a bonfire together. Each overland related Facebook group is encouraged to plan their own route, or routes and bring their members (we also welcome solo travelers as well as those not associated with a particular group). There will be a charge of $15 per person or $20 per rig per night (whichever is cheaper) to attend on Saturday night to pay for camping and porta-potty rental. You are also welcome to camp on Friday night for an additional $10 per person or $25 per rig.
Location will be in a large private area along the Big Piney look for the H&M Wild Wilderness sign. Coordinates are 35.70205,
-93.25641. You will need to stop at the Camper to pay (cash only) before you setup. Mark your calendar now, we look forward to seeing everyone!

Discover the Yancopin Bridge Hike
Delta Heritage Trail State Park
5539 Hwy 49, Helena-West Helena, AR
Meeting Place: Watson Trailhead, 304 Front Street, Watson, AR 71674
All Admission: Free
Here is your chance to experience a place in the deep Delta woods that few people have passed through in decades, the Yancopin Bridge. Join a park interpreter for a 3-mile, round-trip hiking journey on Delta Heritage Trail lasting approximately 2.5 hours.
Your journey begins on a gravel-surface trail, leading about one mile into a lowland forest before reaching the historic railroad bridge, which stretches roughly 0.5 miles across the Arkansas River. This impressive structure offers sweeping views of the river and tells the story of the former rail line’s challenging crossing, set within a quiet, forested landscape.
Participants will meet at the Watson trailhead and then caravan in their own vehicles to a location near the bridge.
Registration is required by calling the park no later than the day before the program at (870) 572-2352.
Please bring drinking water, snacks, insect repellent and sunscreen. Dress to be outdoors and wear hiking footwear that is comfortable.
